A beautiful early Pennsylvania farmhouse, Hostelling International - Tyler Hostel is a great place to stay while enjoying all the recreational activities of the surrounding 1,170-acre Tyler State Park. Bike and horse paths wind through the park. In the winter, these same paths and fields are great for cross-country skiing and sledding.

For a better idea of what life was like in early Pennsylvania, visit the Mercer Museum of pre-industrial tools. Then see the tools at work at Peddler's Village in Lahaska. Washington's Crossing Historic Park marks where George Washington made his famous Christmas-night crossing of the Delaware River to Trenton. Historic farms are also easily accessible. Historic Schofield Ford Covered Bridge has been rebuilt and is one block from the hostel.

Great place for groups of all ages & retreats!
