- A beautiful early Pennsylvania farmhouse, Hostelling
International - Tyler Hostel is a great place to stay while enjoying all the recreational
activities of the surrounding 1,170-acre Tyler State Park. Bike and horse paths
wind
through the park. In the winter, these same paths and fields are great for cross-country
skiing and sledding.

For a better idea of what life was like in early Pennsylvania, visit the Mercer Museum of
pre-industrial tools. Then see the tools at work at Peddler's Village in Lahaska.
Washington's Crossing Historic Park marks where George Washington made his famous
Christmas-night crossing of the Delaware River to Trenton. Historic farms are also easily
accessible. Historic Schofield Ford Covered
Bridge has been rebuilt and is one block from the hostel.
