Today the Delaware Valley Council of American Youth Hostels, Inc., faces new challenges for our important work. Like many nonprofits we are still trying to over come the devastating financial impact the last decade has had on our organization and the continuing rising cost of insurances, heating fuel and other expenses that at an all time premium.
Your financial contributions can help us maintain our commitment to serving the youth in our communities and provide the additional assistance necessary to keep hostelling affordable, fun, safe and a memorable experience for all.

Gifts and Pledges Can Support the Following
$150 can by Paint or Recreational Equipment
$200 can buy software and computer updates or buy computer monitor
$250 can buy a new mattress or printer HI Iron Master's. (22 are needed)
$500 can buy a new Computer, New signage, and Equipment for the sustainable living programs
$10,000 can assist Hostels with new efficient Heating and Cooling Systems
$25,000 can assist with Hostel Development or refurbishment of the interior at HI Iron Master’s Mansion
The demands of a growing Global Community requires preparing American Youth to play an active and positive role in it’s transformation. Through the Youth Hostel Program in our region, local schools, churches, scouts, community youth organizations, families and international visitors have come to rely on this program, to provide safe affordable accommodations, positive educational and environmental experiences for youth. Please consider supporting the continuation of this wonderful Legacy in the region.
The Delaware Valley Council is a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit educational organizations, all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and monetary donations are 100% tax deductible for up to 50% of your annual gross income.
